Growing up in Hertfordshire, UK, Hannah first began experimenting with film photography when she was 15, inspired by her woodland surroundings. After achieving top marks for A-level Photography, putting her in the top 5% in the country, she went on to graduate with a BSc Hons in Psychology from the University on Manchester. For the last 6 years Hannah has worked in interiors and antiques, and has continued to experiment with film photography.

During her studies Hannah spent a year observing animal communication, which required her to patiently wait for subtle gestures made by the subject. Hannah’s approach to film photography minics that same attention to detail and patience; allowing her to observe and document natural and honest moments.

Between 2016-2018, Hannah spent 2.5 years living in San Francisco, California, where she used this opportunity to travel and capture moments that express her admiration for wildlife, nature, buildings and people. These are topics she is continuing to explore in the UK.
